SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
AUTOMATIC ON/OFF SWITCH
Your kettle is fitted with an ON/OFF switch which automatically switches off
once the water has boiled. If the kettle has just boiled, wait a few minutes
before re-boiling the kettle. Do not attempt to hold the ON/OFF switch in the
ON position or adjust the switch mechanism.
SWITCHING OFF THE KETTLE MANUALLY
You can even switch the kettle off manually before the water boils, by using
the ON/OFF lever (

).
SAFETY CUT-OUT DEVICE
The kettle is protected against damage from operating with insufficient water.
A safety cut-out automatically switches off the power when the heating ele-
ment gets too hot.
If the kettle ever runs dry while operating, you must allow it to cool down for
10 minutes before refilling with cold water. The safety cut-out device will auto-
matically reset itself after it has cooled down.
360° CONNECTOR BASE
The 360° connector between the body (

) means that the
kettle can be located at any point on the base.
BEFORE USING YOUR STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
Before using the kettle for the first time, clean it by boiling a full kettle of
water then discarding the water.
HOW TO USE THE STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
FILLING THE STAINLESS STEEL KETTLE
– Remove the body from its base unit (

– Remove the cap (

), then fill water through the hole of the top

Do not fill the kettle with water less than 0.3 litres or more
than 1.25 litres / 42 oz (over MAX indication) to prevent the
kettle running dry or boiling water being ejected from the
hole of the top cover (
