HOW TO USE THE MILL
The mill grinds shelled nuts, herbs, chocolate, cheese, spices,
bread into breadcrumbs, coffee, onions and garlic. Tip:
Process foodstuffs that are predominantly dry; chocolate
and cheese should be hard when ground.
The mill may only be used when the lid is shut. Always keep
the milling blade in the mill, in order to avoid injuries.
DO NOT OPERATE THE BLENDER TOGETHER WITH THE MILL
FOR MORE THAN ONE MINUTE AT A TIME. OPERATE ONLY
WITH LOW SPEED.
PROCEDURE
– Rotate the lid (1) to remove it from the mill.
– Attach the blade (2) to the container spindle (4) with the
blade edge facing downwards.
– Add the food that you intend to grind to the container.
Do not fill the container more than halfway.
– In order to close the mill turn the lid until it clicks into place.
– Ensure that the plug on the BODUM
®
hand blender is
not plugged into a power socket. Remove the detach-
able blade from your BODUM
®
hand blender. For further
information on changing the detachable blade refer to
the operating instructions 11179 for the BISTRO electric
hand blender from BODUM
®
.
– Once you have removed the detachable blade from the
hand blender you can plug the hand blender plug into a
power socket.
– Now insert the hand blender into the recess in the lid (1).
Ensure that the hand blender stands straight over the mill
and that the mixing head fits precisely into the lid recess.
