– Now switch on the BODUM
®
hand blender. When doing
so hold the BODUM
®
hand blender vertically and press it
down lightly on the mill.
– Switch off the BODUM
®
hand blender as soon as the
desired fineness has been attained.
– CAUTION! Never remove the BISTRO hand blender before
it is switched off.
– Remove the BISTRO hand blender from the mill and
unplug the BISTRO hand blender from the power socket.
– Open the lid and remove the blade before emptying the
mill. You can remove the milled product with the aid of a
spatula.
– CAUTION! Never open the lid when the blade is still turn-
ing. The rotating shape blade can cause serious injuries.
– Do not grind hard substances such as nutmegs, fruit
stones or nut shells.

USING THE STAND
– Use the stand in order to keep your BODUM
®
hand blend-
er within easy reach in your kitchen.
– The stand can either be left free-standing on the worktop
or wall-mounted with the dowels and screws supplied.
– Place the BODUM
®
hand blender on the intended stand
support (7).
– Keep the detachable blade in the blade retainer (6) on
the stand base.
– Do not place or mount the stand on or in close proximity
to a gas or electric hob.
CLEANING
– Wash the stand, container, lid and milling blade with
hot water. You can use a mild cleaning agent. Never use
corrosive cleaning agents. Any other servicing should be
performed by an authorized service representative.
