Using Your Microwave Oven
Reheat
This feature allows you to reheat precooked room-temperature or refrigerated foods without selecting cooking
times and power levels. The word SENSING will scroll in the display while reheating.
Auto Cook
Use this function to cook food without entering a cook
time or power. Refer to the “Auto Cook Recommenda-
tions” below for more information.
Auto Cook Recommendations
1 Dinner Place foods to be heated on dinner plate or similar dish. Approximately
Plate Cover with plastic wrap. Slit to vent.

2 Soup/ Place foods to be heated in an appropriately-sized 1–4 cups
Sauce microwave container. Cover with plastic wrap. Slit to vent.
3 Casserole
Cover dish containing the casserole with plastic wrap. Slit to vent.

Bacon Place bacon strips on microwave bacon rack for best results. 2 to 6 slices
(Use dinner plate lined with paper towels if rack is not available).

Frozen Remove from package and place on plate. 1 to 6 pieces

Beverage Place container on turntable. Be careful: liquids can become 1 to 2 cups
superheated beyond boiling temperatures without bubbling.
When the liquid is disturbed it may bubble suddenly and erupt.
Stir liquids before and halfway through heating to avoid eruption.

Chicken Place the chicken pieces in an appropriately-sized

Hot Cereal Prepare as directed on package. 1 to 6 servings
Stir and allow standing time before eating.
Use only instant hot cereal.
If you open the door or press STOP/CLEAR during cooking, the process will be canceled.
