General Microwave Use
1. DO NOT operate the oven while empty. The mi-
crowave energy will reflect continuously through-
out the oven, causing overheating if food or wa-
ter is not present to absorb energy. This could
damage the oven and result in a risk of fire.
2. DO NOT dry clothes, newspapers or other ma-
terials in oven, or use newspapers or paper bags
for cooking. Fire could result.
3. DO NOT use recycled paper products unless the
paper product is labeled as safe for microwave
oven use. Recycled paper products may contain
impurities which may cause sparks and result in
fires when used.
4. DO NOT hit or strike control panel. Damage to
controls may occur. Fire could result.
5. POT HOLDERS should always be used when
removing items from the oven. Heat is transferred
from the HOT food to the cooking container and
from the cooking container to the Glass Tray. The
Glass Tray can be very HOT after removing cook-
ing container from oven.
6. DO NOT store flammable materials next to, on
top of, or in the oven. These could be fire haz-
ards.

• Use this unit only in the manner intended by the
manufacturer. If you have any questions, contact
the manufacturer.
• Be sure the oven is properly installed and
grounded by a qualified technician.
• Children and pets should not be left alone or un-

use can damage the oven parts.

• Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance
unless specifically recommended in this manual.
All other servicing should be referred to an au-
thorized servicer.
• Do not store flammable materials in or near the
oven.
• Do not use water on a grease fire. Smother fire
or flame or use a dry chemical or foam-type extin-
guisher.
• Use only dry potholders. Moist or damp pot-hold-
ers on hot surfaces may result in burns from
steam. Do not let a potholder touch hot heating
elements. Do not use a towel or other bulky cloth.
• In the event that personal clothing or haircatches
fire, DROP AND ROLL IMMEDIATELY to
extinguish flames.
• As a precaution, it is highly recommended that a
fire extinguisher be readily available and highly
visible next to any cooking appliance.
