the toasting slots, lower the bread carriage handle, then press the FROZEN
button. The FROZEN light will come on, and will stay on until toasting is
complete.
The toasting time will be altered automatically to give the same degree of
browning you get with unfrozen bread.
The FROZEN button affects all four slots. You cannot toast unfrozen bread and
frozen bread at the same time.
HINTS AND TIPS
When toasting more than one slice of bread, use slices of similar size,
thickness and freshness.
old or thin bread will cook faster than fresh or thick bread, so use a lower setting.
Do not use torn, curled up, or misshapen slices of bread as these may jam the
ejection mechanism and could catch fire.
Sweet bread products(tea cakes, fruit loaf, etc.)brown much more quickly
than ordinary bread, so should be toasted on the lighter settings
CARE AND CLEANING
Unplug the toaster and let it cool down fully before attempting any cleaning
operation
Wipe the outside surfaces with a soft damp cloth.if necessary, use a little
washing-up liquid.
Do not allow anything to enter the slots, as this might damage the elements.
Do not immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
Crumbs
Crumbs will collect in the base of the toaster, letting them build up is
unhygienic, and could cause a fire hazard, so remove them frequently.
Unplug the toaster, let it cool down fully, then lift the rear of the toaster and
pull out the crumb trays, Empty them, wipe with a clean damp cloth,then dry
thoroughly, before sliding them back into the base of the toaster.
AFTER SALES SERVICE
There are no user serviceable parts in this appliance, if the
appliance is not operating correctly, please check that:
1.You have followed the instructions correctly.
HOW TO USE YOUR TOASTER
1.Position the toaster on a firm, level,heat resistant surface, clear of
curtains and other combustible materials, Do not place the toaster on or
near items that may become damaged even by moderate sources of heat
2.Shorten the mains lead by wrapping excess lead round the clips underneath
the toaster.
3.Plug the mains lead into the power socket and, if necessary, switch the
socket on.
Toasting bread
1.Place bread centrally into the toasting slots.(Max.thickness of bread
25mm/1").For tall bread,lay the slices sideways in the slots.
if you are toasting one or two slices, you must use the left pair of toasting
slots (the ones above the CANCEL button).
2.Set the brownign control to the degree of browning required-moving the
browning control after toasting has started will not change the degree of browning.
3.if you are toasting one or two slices, press the left bread carriage handle down.
When toasting one or two slices, the eleement on the left of the third bread
slot will glow, This is normal and should not be a cause for concern.
4.if you are using three or four slots, you should press the right bread carriage
handle down (it will pull the other one down with it)
As this toaster is fitted with an electronic timer control, the bread carriage handle
will not lock down unless the toaster is connected to the electricity supply.
5.When the toasting cycle is completed,the toast will pop up.
Extra lift facility
After toasting small items (bagels, crumpets, etc) the bread carriage handles
may be raised further, to allow the toasted bagels, crumpets, etc. to be
removed more easily.
Cancel button
if you wish to stop a toasting cycle before it is complete, press the CANCEL
button, the elements will be switched off, and the toast will pop up.
Frozen bread
This feature takes the guesswork out of toasting frozen bread.
Leave the browning control at your favourite setting, put the frozen bread into

Función Recalentar
La tostadora puede usarse para recalentar una tostada si ésta se ha enfriado
demasiado rápido.
• Coloque la tostada dentro de la tostadora.
• Coloque el control de tostado en el menor nivel.
• Baje la palanca.
• Presione el botón REHEAT (recalentar). La luz indicadora de recalentamiento se
iluminará. Asegúrese de que la tostada no vaya a quemarse.
• La palanca se levantará o saltará automáticamente cuando la tostada haya
quedado recalentada.
Función Descongelar
Si es necesario la tostadora puede usarse para descongelar pan congelado antes
de proceder a tostarlo.
• Coloque el pan dentro de la tostadora.
• Coloque el control de tostado a nivel deseado.
• Baje la palanca.
• Presione el botón descongelar. La luz indicadora del descongelado se iluminará.
Asegúrese de que la tostada no vaya a quemarse.
Función Cancelar
• Presione el botón CANCEL (cancelar) si el pan comenzara a echar humo.
• Puede presionarse el botón CANCEL (cancelar) en cualquier momento durante el
proceso de tostado.
Cuidado y Mantenimiento
Limpieza
1. Desconecte la tostadora y déjela enfriar totalmente antes de proceder a limpiar.
2. Limpie las supercies de la tostadora solamente con un paño suave y húmedo.
3. No permita que se acumulen migas o restos de pan dentro de la tostadora.
4. Para retirar las migas o restos del pan, saque la bandeja para migas que se
encuentra en el inferior de la tostadora. Límpiela con un paño húmedo.
5. Las partes internas pueden dañarse fácilmente. No toque las partes internas de
la tostadora con ningún utensilio.
