17. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do
not use attachments that are not recommended by manufacturer; they may
cause injury.
18. Do not use foods that will drip coatings or fillings when heated. Such
accumulations inside the toaster create unsanitary conditions and the
possibility of fire or toaster malfunction.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical
outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
CORD PLUG
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement
or tripping over a longer cord. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and
try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are
found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
Please return it to our Service Department or to an authorized service representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on
the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord
or extension cord is used,
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and

Este aparato es para USO DOMÉSTICO SOLAMENTE. Puede enchufarse en un
tomacorriente eléctrico CA (corriente doméstica común). No use ningún otro
tomacorriente eléctrico.
ENCHUFE DEL CABLE
Se proporciona un cable de alimentación corto para reducir los riesgos resultantes del
enredo o de tropezar con un cable más largo. Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado
(una de las clavijas es más ancha que las demás). Para reducir el riesgo de choque
eléctrico, este enchufe fue creado de manera tal que calce en un tomacorriente polarizado
de una única manera. Si el enchufe no calza completamente en el tomacorriente, dé
vuelta al enchufe e inténtelo de nuevo. Si aún así no calza, póngase en contacto con un
electricista calificado. No intente modificar el enchufe de cualquier manera.
CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD PARA EL CABLE
1. Nunca tire o jale del cable o del aparato.
2. Para insertar el enchufe, tómelo con firmeza y guíelo al tomacorriente.
3. Para desconectar el aparato, tome el enchufe con firmeza y retírelo del
tomacorriente.

abrasión. Si las encuentra, esto indica que el aparato debería ser enviado a servicio y
que se debe reemplazar el cable. Sírvase enviarlo a nuestro Departamento de
Servicio o a un representante de servicio autorizado.
