• Plug the cord into a 120 volt, 60 HZ AC outlet.
• Position toaster at least 3 inches away from wall or rear of counter.
• Let the first toasting process take place wi
thout inserting any bread to preheat the new
elements and burn off any residue.
• Select the desired level of darkness by turning the “1-5” light/dark knob on the front
panel of the toaster to the right for darker toast and to the left for lighter toast.
Toasting is affected by the temperature of the bread, room temperature or frozen; the
moisture content, fresh or several days old; and the size, thick or thin.
• Place bread / foods in slot and depress bread carriage lever downwards until it locks.
Carriage lever will not stay down if toaster is not plugged in. The self-adjusting bread
guides will automatically center the bread for browning.
• At the end of the toasting cycle, the bread will pop up automatically. The bread
carriage will return to its original position and disconnect the elements, ready for the
next toasting.
• The toast control lever has an extra-lift feature that lets you move up the lever to
remove the toast.
• To remove food that becomes lodged in food slots, disconnect from outlet and allow
toaster to cool. Turn toaster upside down and shake. Do not use fork or other utensil
that could damage heating element or result in risk of fire or electrical shock.
DO NOT WRAP THE CORD AROUND THE TOASTER.
USEFUL HINTS
• Cancel (Stop): To interrupt the toasting cycle, rotate the shade selector counter
clockwise to the “Stop” marking. This will stop the toasting cycle and the toaster foods
will pop up (and the toaster will switch off). NEVER MANUALLY RAISE OR FORCE
THE CARRIAGE LEVER UP AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE TOASTER.
• Most types of breads and pastries can be toasted, such as bagels, tea cakes, thick
sliced breads, English muffins, waffles, etc. Slices should not, however, be so thick as
to cause burning or jamming in the bread slots.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the unit and allow to cool before cleaning.
• Use a soft cloth or a damp sponge and a mild detergent to clean the outside of the
toaster.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• To avoid damage to toaster heating elements,
do not use any pointed or sharp articles
for cleaning the inside of the toaster.

CÓMO TOSTAR
• Antes del primer uso retire todos los embalajes. Limpie la tostadora a conciencia
antes de usarla por primera vez.
• Antes de enchufar la tostadora a la toma de corriente, asegúrese de que la palanca
este en su posición mas alta posible.
• Conecte el enchufe a una toma de corriente de 120 V ~60Hz CA.
• Posicione la tostadora a un mínimo de 7.62cm (3“) de la pared o parte trasera del
mesón.
• Antes de usar la tostadora con alimentos, deje que funcione una vez vacía para
calendar las nuevas resistencias y queme los residuos de montaje.
• Seleccione el nivel de oscuridad de la tostada girando el botón del 1-5 en el panel
frontal de la tostadora (hacia la derecha para una tostada más oscura y hacia la
izquierda para una tostada más blanca). El tostado es afectado por la temperatura
del pan, la temperatura ambiente y el congelado; el contenido de humedad, si es
fresco o si tiene varios días, y el tamaño, si es grueso o fino.
• Coloque las rebanadas de pan o los alimentos en las ranuras y presione el control
hasta producir un clic. Las guías para las rebanadas se ajustan automáticamente
para retener las rebanadas gruesas o finas en su lugar.
• Al final del ciclo de tostado, el pan saltará automáticamente. Las guías volverán a su
posición inicial y se desconectará dejando la tostadora lista para su siguiente tostado.
• La palanca de control de tostado cuenta con un dispositivo de impulso que permite
mover y elevarla a fin de retirar los alimentos fácilmente.
• Para sacar los alimentos que se atascan en las ranuras para los alimentos,
desconecte el tostador del tomacorriente y deje que se enfríe. Dé vuelta el tostador
al revés y agítelo. No use un tenedor ni otro utensilio que pueda dañar el elemento
calentador o resultar en un riesgo de incendio o choque eléctrico.
NO ENROLLE EL CABLE ALREDEDOR DE LA TOSTADORA SI ÉSTA ESTÁ
TODAVÍA CALIENTE.
CONSEJOS UTILES
• Cancelar (Stop): Para interrumpir el ciclo de tostado, gire el selector de oscuridad del
pan en sentido contrario a la agujas del reloj hasta la marca de “Stop”. Esto parara el
ciclo y los alimentos saltaran automáticamente (y la tostadora se apagara). NUNCA
LEVANTE MANUALMENTE NI FUERCE LA PALANCA DE COCHE ARRIBA
COMO ESTO DAÑARA EL TOSTADOR.
