Preparing the Mounting Bracket Location
Themountingbracketmustbeattacheddirectlytothe•
studsintheceiling,ortoareinforcedmountingblock
securedtothestuds.Seebelowformountingbracket
holedimensions.
Attachthemountingbracketdirectlyabovethecenter•
ofthecooktop.
Attachthemountingbrackettothemountingsurfaces•
with#12screws(notsupplied).Thescrewsmustbeof
sufficientlengthtopenetrateintothewoodmounting
surfacesatleast11/2”(3.8cm).
Themountingsurfacemustbelevel.•
Allowclearanceinthecenterofthemountingbracket•
fortheexhaustducttopassthroughtheceiling
(8-inchesindiameter).
