ThiswarrantyisavailableonlytothepersontowhomtheunitwasoriginallysoldbyDanbyor byanauthorizeddistributorofDanby,andisnon-transferable.
TERMSOFWARRANTY
PIasticparts(ie.evaporatordoor,doorrails,coversandtraysarewarrantedforthirty(30)daysonlyfrompurchasedate,withnoextensionsprovided.
FirstYear Duringthefirstyear(1),anyelectricalpartsof thisproductfoundto bedefective,includinganysealedsystemunits,willberepairedor
replaced,atwarrantor'soption,atnochargetotheORIGINALpurchaser.Consumableparts(ie.lightbulbs)arenotwarrantedor
guaranteedforanylengthoftime.
SecondThrough Duringthenextfouryears(4)anypartofthesealedsystemfoundtobedefective(consistingof compressor,condenser,evaporator,
FifthYear dryerandallrelatedtubing)willbereplacedwithoutcharge.ThepurchasershallpayforaIIlaborandreturnfreightduringthisfouryear
(4)periodfor repairor replacementofanysealedsystemcomponents.Anyunitbeingdiagnosedasnon-functionalduetosealed
systemfailureandwarrantinganexchangeduringtheexistingfour(4)yearswillbesubjecttoanappropriatedepreciationoruserfee,
includinganyandallfreightchargesbeingleviedagainsttheconsumer.
ToObtainService Danbyreservestherighttolimitboundariesof"ln HomeService"duetotheproximityofanAuthorizedServiceDepot.Anyappliance
requiringserviceoutsidetheLimitedBoundariesof"InHomeService",it willbethecustomer'sresponsibilitytotransporttheappliance
totheclosestAuthorizedServiceDepotattheirownexpense.Contactyourdealerfromwhomyourunitwaspurchased,orcontactyour
nearestauthorizedDanbyservicedepot,whereservicemustbeperformedbyaqualifiedservicetechnician.Ifserviceisperformedon
theunitsbyanyoneotherthananauthorizedservicedepot,or theunitisusedforcommercialapplication,allobligationsofDanbyunder
thiswarrantyshaltbeat anend.
ThefollowingcIauserefersto singleanddoubledoorrefrigerators,suppliedwithorwithoutaseparatefreezersection.Nothingwithinthiswarrantyshatlimply
thatDanbywillberesponsibleorliabIeforanyspoilageordamagetofoodorothercontentsofthisappliance,whetherduetoanydefectoftheappliance,or its
use,whetherproperorimproper.

guarantees,expressor implied,madeorintendedby DanbyProductsLimitedoritsauthorizeddistributorsandallotherwarranties,conditions,representationsor
guarantees,includinganywarranties,conditions,representationsorguaranteesunderanySaleofGoodsActor IikelegislationorstatueisherebyexpressIy
excluded.Saveashereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)orDanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A),shallnotberesponsiblefor anydamagestopersonsor
property,includingtheunititself,howsoevercausedor anyconsequentialdamagesarisingfromthemalfunctionof theunitandbythepurchaseoftheunit,the
purchaserdoesherebyagreetoindemnifyandsaveharmIessDanbyProductsLimitedfromanyclaimfordamagesto personsorpropertycausedbytheunit.

Nowarrantyorinsurancehereincontainedorsetoutshallapplywhendamageorrepairiscausedbyanyofthefollowing:

3) Improperpowersupplysuchaslowvoltage,defectivehousewiringorinadequatefuses.
4) Accident,alteration,abuseor misuseoftheappliancesuchasinadequateaircirculationintheroomorabnormaloperatingconditions,
(extremelyhighorlowroomtemperature).
5) Useforcommercialorindustrialpurposes.
6) Fire,waterdamage,theft,war,riot,hostility,actsof Godsuchas hurricanes,floodsetc.
7) Servicecallsresultingincustomereducation.
