ATTENTION
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Thisappliancemustbegrounded.Intheeventofanelectricalshort
circuit,groundingreducestheriskd electricalshockbyproviding
anescapewirefortheelectricalcurrent.Thisapplianceisequipped
withacordhavingagroundingwirewithagroundingplug.Theplug
must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed
andgrounded.

extension cords or togetherwith any otherappliance in the same

Thisrefrigeratoris inclusiveofa cycledefrostsystem.
Therefrigeratorhasa coldplatelocatedinbehindthe back
walloftherefrigeratorcabinet. Icebuild-uponthe backwall
duringcompressoroperationisnormal. Whenthecompressor
hascycledoff,accumulatedicewilldefrostautomatically.
Defrostwaterwillcollectinsidethedraintroughpassthrough
thedrainoutletlocatedatthebottomofthecabinetandflJnnel
intoa drainpansituatedabovethe compressor.Thewaterwill
thenevaporatefromthistrayfromtheheatofthecompressor.
REMINDER:Keepthedrainoutletopeningclearofanyfood
particlesor otherimpediments.Thiswillensurethe watercan
funneltothedrainpanwithoutobstruction. Failuretokeep
thisoutletcleanmayresultinwateroverflowingthetrough,
causingwatertoaccumulateatthebottomof therefrigerator,
eventuallyleakingontoyourfloor. Pleasewipethistroughand
drainoutletwitha softclothasrequired.

Removeexteriorand interiorpackings,wipethe outsidethoroughly
witha softdry clothandtheinsidewitha wet, lukewarmcloth. Avoid
placingthecabinetinanarrowrecessor nearanyheatsource,direct
sunlight,or moisture.Letaircirculatefreelyaroundthecabinet.Keep
therearofthe refrigerator5 inchesawayfromthewall.
Location
1. Selecta placewitha strong,levelfloor.
2. Allow5 inchesof spacebetweenthebackofthe refrigeratorand
anyadjacentwall.
3. Avoiddirect sunlightand heat. Directsunlightmayaffectthe
acryliccoating. Heatsourcesnearbywill causehigherelectricity
consumption.
4. Avoidverymoistplaces. Toomuchmoisturein theairwillcause
frostto formvery quicklyon theevaporator,andyourrefrigerator
willhaveto bedefrostedmorefrequently.
Toavoidvibration,the cabinetmustbe set level. This is accomplishedby
adjustingthe (2)frontlevelinglegslocatedunderthe refrigeratorcabinet. To
startthe refrigerator,turnthetemperaturecontrol(OFF-MAX)tothe position
correspondingtothedesiredcooling.
OFF= No Cooling
1= Minimum Cooling
4 = MediumCooling
MAX= MaximumCooling
Therefrigeratortemperaturewillvarydependingonthequantityofthe
foodstoredandonthefrequencywithwhichthedoorisopened.
