Operating Your Grain Mill
3) Place the ring nut (7) in position and tighten.
Then place the hopper (1) in position.
4) The assembly and location of your attachment
onto the mixer is easier if the fine setting has
been selected on the grain mill.
5) Remove the low-speed outlet cover from the
stand mixer by pulling the locking catch to the
side.
6) Slide the grain mill into the outlet, turning it slightly
so that the shaft engages in the socket with the
pin located in the slot.
7) Release the catch to lock.
Assembling Your Grain Mill (continued)
1) Fill the hopper with grains, a maximum of 750
grams - 1 kg can be accommodated depending
upon the grain.
2) Select the desired grain size by turning the
adjusting control to the left (counterclockwise) for
a finer result, and to the right (clockwise) for a
coarser result.
3) The adjusting control will revolve continuously
passing through the various grain sizes (fine,
medium, and coarse) and it is marked 1 to 6 in
order for ease of reference, and a finer
subdivision.
4) If the control becomes stiff when adjusting from
Fine to Coarse, the front of the indicating knob
should be pressed inwards while continuing to
turn the control to a finer position.
5) Once the desired setting is selected, switch the
mixer to maximum speed ensuring that there is a
collecting dish below the grain mill outlet.
