Partial/Complete Thaw Warning
If frozen goods in the freezer compartment have been partially or com-
pletely thawed (e.g. during a temporary power interruption), the red
warning display flashes. In addition the temperature display alternately
indicates:
– the highest temperature to which the frozen goods have warmed;
– and the actual temperature in the freezer compartment.
If the possibility of partial or complete thawing exists, you should
check the quality of the foods.
As soon as the temperature in the freezer compartment has again
fallen below the critical thawing temperature of -4°C, the partial/com-
plete thaw warning can be switched off with the WARNING OFF but-
ton.
Function Errors
If the appliance electronics have detected a technical malfunction
which has to be corrected by a service technician, both optical and
acoustic warnings are activated. In addition the respective temperature
display alternately indicates:
– an error message (error codes F1 through F7) and
– the current storage temperature (actual temperature).
Note:
An appliance malfunction which is indicated by an error code,
must be corrected by a service technician. The acoustic warning can be
switched off for 24 hours with the WARNING OFF button.
Opening the Freezer Compartment Door
If the freezer compartment door is closed when the appliance is in ope-
ration, it is possible that it cannot be immediately opened again. A
vacuum occurs in the freezer compartment which holds the door closed
until pressure has been equalised. The door can be opened again after
several minutes.
