Steps for Pricing a Beacon II™ System:
1. Determine condensing unit and evaporator(s) needed for the heat load
2. Price the Beacon II™ condensing unit model with options
3. Defrost kits are not required as Beacon II™ components include
accessories necessary for defrost
4. Price the standard evaporator with correct voltage
5. Add the corresponding Beacon II™ options for the selected evaporators
6. Add Beacon II™ Smart Controller™
* Beacon II™ Smart Controller™ is recommended for warehouse applications. Beacon II™ oers
Smart Controller™ as an optional system monitoring and programming control device which
allows for adjustments to be made at the push of a button from a conveniently mounted location.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The distributor nozzle size must be reviewed by an Application Engineer when
using an electric defrost coil with suction temperature above 0ºF.
