SYMPTOMS
Steamer not steaming
Steamer not heating/
steaming properly
Door leaks
Water accumulates in
compartment
Water not being supplied
to steamer
POSSIBLE CAUSES
No main power source
Power switch in OFF position
(Professional)
Handle out (OFF) position (Basic)
Water not being supplied to
steamer
Excessive lime build up in the
steamer
Damaged door gasket
Improper drain
Plugged drain
Damage to gasket sealing surface
Plugged drain or screen
Unit not leveled properly
Drain clogged
Water supply valve is off
Water pressure low
Water filter is plugged
Valve inlet screen clogged
REMEDY
Check the power source.
Set power switch to the ON
position.
Push handle in.
Refer to symptom WATER NOT
BEING SUPPLIED TO STEAMER.
Descale the steamer (see
REMOVAL OF LIME SCALE
DEPOSITS).
Check door gasket for damage.
If adjustment is needed, contact
your Local Hobart Servicer.
Clear compartment cavity
screen. If symptom persists,
contact your Local Hobart
Servicer.
See leveling instructions in the
installation section of this
manual.
Unclog drain.
Turn valve on.
Check water supply pressure.
Refer to water filter manual. If
symptom persists, contact your
Local Hobart Servicer.

Servicer.
