SYMPTOM
No power when switch is

POSSIBLE CAUSES / SOLUTIONS
Tripped breaker; fuse blown / Verify fryer is plugged in and outlet
has power. Check power cord connection at the power supply box.
Problem with power switch / Call service.
Gas supply not on or partially on / Verify gas supply valve is full
on / Check hose connection (if applicable).
Verify power is on.
Gas valve in fryer not on / Verify gas valve is on in fryer / Verify
pilot comes on.
Problem with high limit / Call service.
Problem with electrical system / Turn off gas supply and call
service.
Combination valve is stuck in open position / Turn off gas supply
and call service.
Problem with electrical system / Call service.
Gas supply pressure inadequate / Call service.
Tripped breaker, fuse blown / Verify fryer is plugged in and check
circuit breakers and fuse(s).
Check gas supply. Verify pilot is on.
Shortening is too hot, high limit switch is open / Call service.
