TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptoms Possible Causes
Mixer will not start. Circuit protector is in open position - check fuse or disconnect switch.
Mixer is overloaded.
Wire cage is not in the closed position.
Bowl is not in closed (locked) position.
Agitator touches bowl. Bowl is not in closed (locked) position.
Improper agitator clearance - see Maintenance for adjustment
procedure.
Agitator is not installed properly.
Planetary seal squeaks. Seal requires occasional lubrication - see Maintenance.
Timer displays error code (ErXX). If the error code is ashing - wait for mixer to clear error condition.
If mixer continues to stop and timer displays ashing error code,
disconnect electrical power from mixer for 1 minute, then reconnect.
If symptoms still exist, contact your local Hobart Service of ce.
Alternated message of "b_in" on Bowl is not in all the way.
SPEED display. If message of "b_in" appears again after a corrective action,
disconnect electrical power from mixer for 1 minute, then reconnect.
If symptoms still exist, contact your local Hobart Service of ce.
Alternated message of "b_up" on Bowl is not up all the way.
SPEED display. If message of "b_up" appears again after a corrective action,
disconnect electrical power from mixer for 1 minute, then reconnect.
If symptoms still exist, contact your local Hobart Service of ce.
Alternated message of "b_gd" on Wire cage is not closed completely.
SPEED display. If message of "b_gd" appears again after a corrective action,
disconnect electrical power from mixer for 1 minute, then reconnect.
If symptoms still exist, contact your local Hobart Service of ce.
Message of "HI" and "LOAd" on Make sure you are not using STIR to develop dough product.
