Dishwasher detergent iscorrosive! Take care tokeepit out
ofreach of children.
IF THE WATER ISN'T TOO HARD, YOU MAY ALSO PREVENT THE FORMATION OF DEPOSITSBYADDING DETERGENT.
The amountof detergent needed can varydueto differencesin waterhardness. To determinethewater hardness in yourarea,
contact your local water utilityor area water softeningcompany. Theharder the water, the more detergent you may need.
Remember,you should adjust the amount of detergent youuse by small amounts until you find the correctamount.
To remove hard waterspots, trythefollowing:
Run dishes through a normal wash program.
Removeall metaldishware,suchas cutlery, pans,etc.,
from the dishwasher.
Do not adddetergent.
Pourtwocups of vinegar into a bowlandset the bowl face
up on the lower rack of the dishwasher.
Runthedishes throughanormalwashprogram.
If this doesn't work, try thesame process with 1 / 4 cup of
citric acid crystals instead of vinegar.
Useonly detergent specificallymade for usein dishwashers.
Keep your detergent fresh and dry. Don't put powder detergent
into the dispenser until You're ready to wash dishes.
Therinse aidis releasedduringthe final rinse toprevent water
fromforming dropletson your dishesthat can leave spotsand
streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to "sheet" off
the dishes.
Your dishwashers are designed to use liquid rinse aids. The
rinse aid dispenser is locatedinside the door next tothe
detergentdispenser. Tofill the dispenser,openthe cap and
pour therinse aidinto the dispenser until the level indicator
turns completely black. The dispenserholds about 100 ml of
liquid rinse aid.
Be careful not to overfill the dispenser, because this could
cause oversudsing. Wipe away any spills with a damp cloth.
Don't forget to replace the cap before you close the dishwasher
door.
If you have soft water, you may not need rinse aid forit may
cause a white film to develop on yourdishes.

The dispensermust be refilledbefore the start ofeach wash cyclefollowing the instructions provided inthe" Wash Cycle
Table".Yourdishwashers than conventional dishwashers.Generally, only one tablespoon of
detergentis needed fora normalwashload. Also, more heavily soiled items need more detergent. Always add the detergent just
before startingdishwasher,otherwiseit couldget damp and will not dissolve properly.

To openthedispenser, turn thecapto the "open"(left)
arrowandlift it out.
Pour therinse aidintothedispenser, beingcareful not to
overfill.
Replace the cap by inserting it aligned with "open" arrow
and turning it to the closed (right) arrow.
A measuredamount of rinseaid is released duringthefinalrinse. Aswithdetergent, the amount
ofrinse aidneeded for yourdishes depends on the hardness ofthe waterin your area. Toomuch
rinse aid can result in lather offoamingand causecloudiness orsteakson your dishes.If the
water in your area is very soft,you may not need rinseaid. If you do,you can dilutethe rinse aid
with an equal amountof water.
The rinse aid dispenser has six settings. Always start with the dispenser set on " 1 ". If spotsand
poor dryingare problems,increase theamount of rinse aiddispensed byremoving the dispenser
lid androtating the dial to "2". If the dishes still are notdrying properly orare spotted, adjustthe
dial to the next higher numberuntilyour dishes are spot-free. We suggest you to set on "4" .
(If onlyfour settingswe suggest you to set on "2".)
