be loaded in the bottom rack, facing down.
Heavily soiled pots, pans and casseroles must be
loaded
in the bottom rack, facing down. Prop broiler
pans and racks along the edge. Shallow items may be
angled
provided the lower side does not shield the
soiled surface inside from the water.
Precaution!
Take out anything that may fall or extend through the
bottom of the basket.
Put flatware in the removable basket with handles
up to protect your hands. Mix knives, forks and
spoons so they don’t nest together. Distribute evenly.
Small plastic items, such as measuring spoons and
lids from
small
containers, are not recommended for
automatic
dishwashing.
If placed in the dishwasher,
they should go in the bottom of silverware basket
with silverware on top.
