notto coverthe entireair grille.

Air Grille
The airgrilleliftsoffeasily.Wipecleanorwashinsinkwithmildhouseholddetergents.
It may be cleaned in thedishwasher.
Filter
Turnoffventilationsystembeforeremoving.Thefilter is a
permanenttype andshouldbe cleanedwhensoiled. Clean
insinkwithwarmwaterandliquiddishwashingdetergentor
in the dishwasher.
Important: DO NOT OPERATE SYSTEM WITHOUT FIL-
TER. Filtershouldalwaysbe placedatanangle.Asyouface
the frontofthe cooktop,thebottomof the filtershouldrest
onthe ledgeonthe leftside. Thetopofthefiltershouldrest
againstthe rightside.Thereare alsoledgesonthefrontand
rearsidesforthefiltertorest.(Note: Iffilterisflatagainstthe
fan wall, ventilationeffectivenessis reduced.)
Ventilation Chamber
Thisarea,whichhousesthefilter,shouldbe cleanedintheeventofspillsorwhenever
itbecomescoatedwithafilmofgrease.Itmaybecleanedwithpapertowel,dampcloth
or spongeand mild householddetergentor cleanser. (Note: For easier cleaning,
removethe basinpans.)
