then unplug before cleaning, moving or

THE KETTLE, POWER BASE,
CORD OR PLUG IN WATER OR
ANY OTHER LIQUID
Additionally ensure that moisture does
not come into contact with cords,
plugs, kettle or power base.
Interior Cleaning
Removal of Mineral Deposits
Mineral deposits in the water may cause
the kettle interior to discolour.
This may be removed using a Kettle
De-Scaler available form most
supermarkets and hardware stores.
Alternatively you can make your own
solution. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of
white vinegar and the remainder with
water and allow to stand overnight.
DO NOT BOIL. Empty the solution from
the kettle. Fill the kettle again with clean
water, bring to the boil and discard water.
Repeat and the kettle will then be ready
for use.
Exterior Cleaning
Always ensure that the power is switched
off and unplug the kettle from the
power outlet prior to cleaning.
The exterior of the kettle can be cleaned
with a damp cloth and then dried
with a dry clean cloth.
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions or hard brushes for cleaning
as these may scratch and damage the unit.
