Place the measuring cup in the funnel, where
it acts as a lid.
Place a bowl under the opening for the
popped corn to fall into.
Plug the appliance in and switch it on using
the on/off button (position I). After a few
minutes the fi rst kernels will begin to pop.
Switch off using the on/off button (position 0)
once all the corn has popped.
Sprinkle salt on the corn in the bowl and serve
while still hot.
NB! Never pour more than 1 cupful of corn into
the machine at a time, as the kernels may get
burnt onto internal surfaces.
NB! Do not leave the popcorn maker running for
more than 4 minutes at a time. Allow it to cool
for 10 minutes after popping two portions of
popcorn.
CLEANING
Switch the popcorn maker off, allow it to cool
completely and remove the plug from the
socket before cleaning.
Never use scouring powder, steel scourers
or other strong cleaning agents to clean the
interior or exterior surfaces of the popcorn
maker, as they may scratch the surfaces.
The popcorn maker must not be immersed in
water or any other liquid.
Wipe the exterior with a well-wrung cloth
using hot water and a little detergent, if
required.
Wipe the popper using a well-wrung cloth
and hot water. Wipe off thoroughly with a dry
cloth.
The measuring cup and upper section can be
washed in hot water and a little detergent.
Ensure all parts are completely dry before
replacing them and using the popcorn maker
again.
Always clean the popcorn maker before
putting it away if it is not to be used for a
prolonged period.
