Miele CS 1223 Cooktop User Manual

Overheating protection
The induction coils are fitted with an
overheating protection feature. This
prevents the induction coils from
overheating by:
If the booster function is being used,
it will be switched off.
If the temperature continues to rise
after the booster function is switched
off, the power level will be reduced.
If the temperature still continues to
rise after the power level has been
reduced, the appliance will switch off
and an H will appear in the display.
^ Turn the control knob to "0".
Once the H has gone out the combiset
can be used again as normal.
If the control knob is not turned back to
"0", C and 0 will flash in the display once
the burner has cooled. To use the
combiset again, first turn the control
knob to "0".
Overheating can be caused by:
using the appliance for too long at
the maximum power level.
there being insufficient ventilation to
the appliance.
If a drawer is installed directly under
the combiset, sufficient space must be
kept between the drawer and its
contents and the underside of the
appliance in order to ensure sufficient
ventilation of the appliance.
If the overheating protection feature
triggers again, contact Miele Technical
Service.
