Secure the mounting plate to the ceil

ing using the 8 x 60 lag bolts. Once
tight, make sure that the mounting
plate can safely support the weight of
the hood.
^ Pull the power cord through its cut
out on the flange of the chimney.
^ Using at least two people, lift the
hood and guide the spring clips
through their respective slots in the
flange at the top of the chimney.
Make sure they click into place and
that the hood is hanging securely
from the spring clips before allowing
them to carry the weight.
