This button can be used to switch the
hob lighting on and off and is also a
dimmer switch.

The fan can be set to switch off

The grease filter symbol [ for the
operating hours button lights up when
the grease filters need to be cleaned.
The charcoal filter symbol lights up
when the charcoal filters used in
recirculation mode need to be
replaced. For this to happen, the
operating hours counter needs to be
activated before the appliance is used
for the first time.
The button is used to reset the
appropriate operating hours counter
each time the grease filters are cleaned
or the charcoal filters have been
replaced (see "Cleaning and care").
It can also be used to check and alter
the operating hours counter.
