Poor cleaning results
Problem Possible fault Solution
The dishes are not
clean.
The dishes were not
loaded correctly.
See "Loading the
dishwasher".
The program was not
powerful enough.
Select a more intensive
program (see "Program
Guide").
Stubborn but normal
soiling (e.g. coffee, tea).
Use the function "Adjust
Sensor Wash" (depending on
model, see "Settings").
Not enough detergent was
dispensed.
Use more detergent, or
change the detergent.
The spray arms are
blocked.
Turn the spray arms and
rearrange the dishes if
necessary.
The triple filter in the wash
cabinet is clogged or not
correctly inserted.
The spray arm jets might
be clogged as a result.
Clean the filter and insert it
correctly. Clean the spray
arm jets, if required (see
"Cleaning and care").
The non-return valve is
stuck open and blocked.
Wash water will run back
into the wash cabinet.
Clean the drain pump and the
non-return valve (see
"Cleaning and care").
Glasses and cutlery
show streaks. The
glasses take on a
bluish shimmer; the
deposits can be
wiped off.
The rinse aid dosage is
set too high.
Reduce the dosage (see
"Settings - Rinse aid").
