With the aid of the following guide, minor problems can be easily corrected
without calling in a Miele service technician, saving you both time and money.
You should, however, note the following:

Repairs should only be carried out by a suitably qualified and trained
person in accordance with local and national safety regulations. Unauthorised
or incorrect repairs could cause personal injury or damage the appliance.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The "Start" indicator
light does not flash after
the appliance has been
switched on with the
"On/Off" button.
The door is not properly
closed.
Close the door firmly.
The appliance is not
plugged in.
Insert the plug.
The fuse is defective or
has tripped.
Replace the fuse
(see data plate for
minimum fuse rating).
The dishwasher does
not start after the "Start"
button has been
pressed; the "Start"
indicator light is
flashing.
The programme selector
is at the "Stop" position.
Turn the programme
selector to the required
programme.
Press the "Start" button.
The dishwasher stops
during a programme.
The fuse is defective or
has tripped.
Replace the fuse
(see data plate for
minimum fuse rating).
