7. The appliance manufacturer does not recommend the use of accessory
attachments. This may result in injuries.
8. Never place fingers or other utensils into feed or discharge areas.
9. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the table or counter top in
such a way where it can be pulled on by children. This should also reduce the risk
of becoming entangled or tripping.
10. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe
injury to persons or damage to the RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Before plugging your unit into the main electrical supply, make sure the voltage
corresponds to that indicated on the maker’s nameplate.
13. Extreme caution must be used when moving this appliance with liquids.
14. Always operate the RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™ with cover in place.
15. A unit that is plugged into an outlet should not be left unattended.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™. This machine will
give you a refreshing drink on a hot day and provide a fun addition to your family party or
group gathering. The RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™ uses crushed ice or small
ice cubes from your freezer. This machine is designed for kitchen or home bar use but
can be used anywhere such as:
Family Room
Dorm Room
Office
Club House
Your RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™ has a generous one quart (32 ounce) clear
mixing chamber and is ideal for small groups.
Note: The clear mixing chamber will actually hold more liquid but
has been marked to allow for proper volume. Exceeding the
amount will result in spillage.
The RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™ is easy to use, just follow the step by step
instructions, on the following pages.
PRE USE PREPARATION AND ASSEMBLY
It is recommended that after unpacking your RETRO VERTICAL SLUSH MACHINE™, you
take the unit apart and clean all parts, to remove any production oils and packing debris.
1. Remove the upper slush mixing
chamber from the bottom motor base
by
lifting up and set aside. (Figure A)
