•FlashingcontrolbuttonLEDlightindicatesreadytooperate.Avoidanycontactwith
blades or moveable parts.
•Keephandsandutensilsoutofjarwhileblendingtoreducetheriskof:
– Severe personal injury.
– Damage to the blender.
•Ifscrapingisnecessary,turnthepowerOFF,unplugfromtheelectricaloutlet,and
use a rubber spatula only.
•Donotusetheappliance:
– With a damaged cord or plug.
–Aftertheunitfailstoworkcorrectly.
– After you drop or damage the product in any way.

•The6PointStarBladeissharp.Handleitcarefully.Toreducetheriskofinjury,
never place the blade assembly on the base without a jar properly attached.
•Alwaysputthelidonthejarbeforeoperatingtheblender.
•Donotuseoutdoors.
•Donotallowthecordtotouchhotsurfacesorhangovertheedgeof
a table or counter.
•TurnallcontrolstoOFFandunplugtheblenderwhenitisnotinuse,beforetaking
off or putting on parts, and before cleaning.
•Neverleavetheapplianceunattendedwhileitisrunning.
•Youriskpersonalinjury,reorelectricshockifyouuseattachments,jars
or parts other than those recommended by the Oster
®
brand.
•Supervisechildrencloselywhentheyuseorarenearbyappliances.
•Theuseofattachments,includingcanningorordinaryjarandprocessingassembly
parts,isnotrecommendedbyJardenConsumerSolutionsandmaycauseriskor
injury to persons.
•Thecontainershouldnotbemorethan2/3fullwhenthetamperisleftinwhile
blending. Do not exceed 30 seconds of continuous blending with the tamper in place.
•Whenmakingnutbuttersoroilbasedfoods,donotprocessformorethanoneminute
after the mixture starts circulating. Over-processing can cause dangerous overheating.
• Whenprocessinghotliquids:the2-partlidmustbesecurelylockedinplace.Thisallows
steam to escape naturally, and will prevent the lid from coming off when the machine is
turned on. Always start hot liquids on “Low”, then increase to the desired speed in the
recipe.Neverstarton“High”withhotliquids.Usecautionwithhotliquids.
•Neverputnon-fooditemsintothepitchertoblend.
