1. Remove grille. (Squeeze mounting spring and pull
down) (Fig.22 of page 13)
2. Disconnect connector or connector from
lighting unit. (Fig.26)
3. Replace the fluorescent lamp (Panasonic
FHT32E35 32W) or the 4 W night lamp,
connect the connector or connector and
replace the grille. (Fig.27)

4 inches or 6 inches roof jack, wall cap,
or soffit vent with backdraft damper

Properly insulate the area around the fan
to minimize building heat loss and gain.

Loose fill or batt insulation can be placed
directly over the fan housing in the attic.
Our fans and fan/light combination units
do not create excessive heat that is a
common problem with recessed light
fixtures or some competitors fan/light
combinations. Our efficient, cool-running
motors and our fluorescent lamp do not
create enough ambient heat to be subjected
to these limitations.
