Limited Product Warranty
You should first read all instructions before attempting to use this product.
A. This limited warranty applies to repair or replacement of product (except for the filter
cartridge which is warranted for 30 days) found to be defective in material or
workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from commercial, abusive,
unreasonable use or supplemental damage. Defects that are the result of normal wear and
tear will not be considered manufacturing defects under this warranty.
KAZ IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY
NATURE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or
exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also
may have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty applies
only to the original purchaser of this product from the original date of purchase.
B At its option, Kaz will repair or replace this product if it is found to be defective in
material or workmanship. Contact Kaz directly at 1-800-447-0457 for instructions on
returning the product.
C. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from any unauthorized attempts to
repair or from any use not in accordance with the Use and Care Manual.

Claims are calculated based on NSF accepted practice of average percent
reduction. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this
water treatment device are not necessarily in all users’ water. Do not use with
water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system. Systems that are certified for cyst
reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts.
Individuals requiring water of specific microbiological purity should consult
their physician.

Ultimate (CRF-950) Filter cartridge exceeds filtering capacity, replacement is essential for
the product to perform as represented. In the United States, replacement filters generally
cost $12.99 or less per filter. Replacement filters may be purchased at most retail outlets.
The performance of the filter may vary based on local water conditions.
Hot water should not be used with the

filter’s performance (maximum 82° F/28° C - minimum 34° F/ 2° C).
Refer to the Use and Care Manual for general unit operation and maintenance
requirements.
This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53 for reduction of the
substances on the Performance Data Sheet. The concentration of the indicated substances
in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the
permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI Standard 53.
Testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
