Grind Setting Chart
The grind control ring goes from fine to coarse. Settings will vary according to the desired taste and type of coffee being
brewed. We recommend you start at the following settings and experiment until you find the perfect setting to meet your needs:
Helpful Grinding Tips
1. Use only coffee beans in this appliance.
2. Select grind setting while the grinder is running or the bean hopper is completely empty.
3. Make sure the bean hopper, lid and ground coffee container are firmly in place when appliance is running.
4. To avoid overheating the motor, do not grind for longer than 2 minutes. Allow to cool down for at least 2
minutes in between cycles. Do not run this appliance unattended.
5. Do not use the finest setting when grinding coffee for your drip coffee maker. Fine grounds can cause
coffee filters to overflow.
Suggested Servings and Tips for Brewing the Ideal Coffee
We believe that in order to enjoy the freshest coffee it is essential that you always use fresh whole beans in your grinder. It is
optimal not to let the ground coffee sit unused for more than 24 hours. After 24 hours the coffee may become stale and spoil the
taste of your coffee. Store open coffee bean bag or loose beans in an airtight container away from direct sunlight. We do not
recommend using frozen or refrigerated beans. We suggest two tablespoons of preground coffee (10 grams) per every 6
ounces of water. However, you may want to experiment to find the optimal amount of coffee for your individual tastes.
