HOTPLATE CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
PRECAUTIONS Turn oven controls to OFF
Allow hotplates to cool
FREQUENCY Daily
TOOLS Mild Detergent, Soft Cloth or Sponge
Non-abrasive Cleaner, Plastic Scouring Pad
1. Turn both controls to OFF. Allow both hotplate elements to cool.
2. Wipe the entire hotplate top panel using a clean cloth or sponge,
dampened with hot water and a mild detergent. For burned-on
foods or sauce spillage, use a non-abrasive cleanser applied with
a plastic scouring pad.
3. Rinse hotplates and top panel with a soft cloth dampened with clean
water.

avoid a build-up of heat and/

surface" cleaning operation to
avoid melting a fusible link
and causing a discharge of
the fire suppression media.
IMPORTANT:
This appliance is not jet
stream approved. Do not
direct water jet or steam jet
at this appliance, or at any
control panel or wiring.
Do not splash or pour
water on, in or over any
controls, control panel or
wiring.
IMPORTANT:
Always wipe or rub in the
direction of the polish lines
or grain of the metal.
