5. Placer sur le bol le couvercle du bol avec son bouchon à mesurer.
REMARQUE IMPORTANTE ! Toujours tenir le couvercle quand l'appareil
fonctionne.
6. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation dans une prise de 120 volts c.a. Régler le
sélecteur rotatif à la vitesse désirée : à 1 pour la vitesse la plus lente, à 3 pour
la plus rapide. Mélanger jusqu’à ce que les ingrédients atteignent la
consistance voulue.
PRÉCAUTIONS : Si le bol tourne, tourner immédiatement le sélecteur
rotatif à la position (O) Arrêt, puis fixer solidement la bague
d’arrêt et le couteau sur le bol.
• Ne pas toucher aux lames
• Ne pas placer d’objet entre les lames en mouvement
• Ne pas enlever le couvercle du bol-mélangeur
7. Après usage, régler le sélecteur rotatif à la position (O) Arrêt et débrancher
l’appareil.
RÉGLAGE À IMPULSION
1. Pour de petites secousses, régler l’appareil à IMPULSION. Régler le sélecteur
rotatif à (P) IMPULSION.
2. Après usage, régler le sélecteur rotatif à la position (O) Arrêt. Débrancher
l’appareil.
BROYER DE LA GLACE
Mettre 1 tasse de cubes de glace dans le bol-mélangeur, environ 9. Placer le
couvercle sur le bol, puis tourner alternativement plusieurs fois le sélecteur rotatif à
(P) IMPULSION et à arrêt (O) jusqu’à ce que la glace soit broyée.
INGRÉDIENTS CHAUDS
PRÉCAUTIONS : Pour éviter de s’ébouillanter, faire preuve de grande
prudence lorsque vous mélangez des liquides chauds. Ne pas
utiliser la main pour couvrir l’ouverture !
REMARQUE : Quand vous mélangez des aliments chauds, toujours
enlever d’abord le bouchon à mesurer du couvercle.
• NE JAMAIS insérer dans le bol-mélangeur plus d’une tasse d’ingrédients
chauds à la fois.
• Une fois le processus initié, vous pouvez ajouter lentement par l’ouverture
au centre du couvercle une autre tasse d’ingrédients chauds.
• Toujours utiliser un contenant ayant un bec verseur quand vous ajoutez des
ingrédients chauds.

5. Place Glass Blending Jar Lid with Measuring Cap on Blending Jar.
IMPORTANT! Always hold Lid in place during processing.
6. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Turn
the Control Dial to the desired speed setting: 1 is the lowest speed; 3 is
the highest. Blend until ingredients have reached desired consistency.
CAUTION: If Glass Blending Jar rotates during blending,
immediately turn Control Dial to (O) OFF, then secure by
tightening the Collar and Blade Assembly on Blending Jar.
•Do not touch Blades
•Do not interfere with the Blade movement
•Do not remove Blending Jar Lid
7. When blending is completed, turn the Control Dial to (O) OFF to stop
the Blender and unplug the unit.
PULSE SETTING
1. For short bursts of power, use the PULSE setting. Turn the Control Dial to
(P) PULSE.
2. When pulsing is completed, turn the Control Dial to (O) OFF to stop the
Blender. Unplug the unit.
CRUSHING ICE
Add 1 cup of ice cubes, about 9, to the Glass Blending Jar. Place the Lid on
Glass Blending Jar then repeatedly turn the Control Dial to (P) PULSE until
the cubes are reduced.
HOT INGREDIENTS
CAUTION: Use extreme caution when blending hot liquids to
avoid accidental scalding or burns. Do not use your hand to
cover opening!
NOTE: When processing hot foods, always remove the Measuring
Cap from the Lid before beginning.
• DO NOT put more than 1 cup of hot ingredients into the Glass
Blending Jar before beginning to blend.
• After the blending process has begun, you may slowly add up to an
additional 1 cup of hot ingredients through the center hole in the Lid.
• Always use a vessel with a pouring spout when adding hot ingredients.
