COOKTOP USE
Cooktop Controls
The control knobs can be set anywhere between HI and LO. Push
in and turn to setting. Use the following chart as a guide when
setting heat levels.
ACCUSIMMER™ Feature
(on some models)
The ACCUSIMMER feature setting is an adjustable heat setting
for more precise simmering. It is the right front surface cooking
area or element.
The indicator light will glow when the ACCUSIMMER feature
setting is on. When the setting is not on, the right front surface
cooking area or element will function as a single or dual element
(on some models).
To u se:
1. Turn the ACCUSIMMER feature knob from NORMAL
BURNER to the ON position.
2. Push in and turn the right front control knob ON between the
LO and 4 settings.
Select LO for a low simmer or when using lids and 4 for a high
simmer or when not using lids.
3. Turn the ACCUSIMMER feature knob to the OFF position
when finished cooking.
Dual Cooking Zone
1. Single size (6 in. [15.24 cm])
2. Dual size (10 in. [25.4 cm])
The Dual Cooking Zone offers flexibility depending on the size of
the cookware. Single size can be used in the same way as a
regular element. The dual size combines both the single and
outer element and is recommended for larger size cookware.

To Use SIN GL E :
1. Push in and turn the left front control knob counterclockwise
from the OFF position to the SINGLE zone anywhere between
HI and LO.
2. Push in and turn knob to OFF when finished.
SETTING RECOMMENDED USE
HI Start food cooking.
Bring liquid to a boil.

Hold a rapid boil.
Quickly brown or sear food.

Maintain a slow boil.
Fry or sauté foods.
Cook soups, sauces and gravies.

Stew or steam food.
Simmer.

Melt chocolate or butter.

WARNING
Fire Hazard
Turn off all controls when done cooking.
Failure to do so can result in death or fire.
REMEMBER: When range is in use or (on some
models) during the Self-Cleaning cycle, the entire
cooktop area may become hot.
