Models with a dual-digit display
You can delay the start of a cycle up to 9 hours.
The first time you use Delay, you will see
showing a 1-hour delay.
After the first time that you use Delay, the control will start by
calling up the last delay that you ran. You can adjust from
there if you want to change it.
To delay the start
1. Repeatedly press DELAY until you see the desired hours of
delay in the display. When the delay reaches 9 hours, the next
selection switches Delay off. Press DELAY again to select a
new number of delay hours.
2. Select a wash cycle and options or skip to Step 3 to use the
cycle and options selected for the last cycle.
3. Press START/RESUME. (The door must be closed.) The delay
countdown starts, and the cycle will begin after the selected
number of hours.
NOTE:
To cancel the delay and cycle, press CANCEL/DRAIN.
To cancel the delay and start the cycle immediately, press
START/RESUME.
Cycle Status Indicators
Follow the progress of your dishwasher with the Cycle Status
indicators.
NOTE: Your model may have some or all of the indicators shown
above.
Sensing/Soaking
Sensing/Soaking glows during both the Sensing and Soaking
parts of the cycle. Your dishwasher senses soil level during soil
sensing intervals and water temperature during water heating
pause intervals. In the ACCUSENSE™ cycle (on some models),
the Sensing/Soaking indicator glows while the dishwasher
detects load size. Your dishwasher soaks when Soak & Scour is
selected. Washing continues while Sensing occurs. Washing
pauses for regular intervals during a soak.
Clean
Clean glows when a cycle is finished. The light turns off when you
open and close the door or press any button.
Sanitized
If you select the SANI RINSE™ option, Sanitized glows when the
SANI RINSE™ cycle is finished. If your dishwasher did not
properly sanitize your dishes, the light flashes at the end of the
cycle. This can happen if the cycle is interrupted, or the water
could not be heated to the required temperature. The light goes
off when you open and close the door or press any button.
Active Vent (on some models)
The Active Vent reduces the sounds from your dishwasher. The
cover closes after the cycle starts. Filling and washing sounds are
reduced. The Active Vent opens when wash action ends and
vapor is vented into room.
NOTE: There is a slight noise when the cover closes or opens.
This is normal.
Drying System
During drying, you can see steam escaping through the vent at
the upper left corner of the door. This is normal as the heat dries
your dishes.
IMPORTANT: The vapor is hot. Do not touch the vent
during drying.
Overfill Protection Float
The overfill protection float (in the front right corner of the
dishwasher tub) keeps the dishwasher from overfilling. It must be
in place for the dishwasher to operate.
Check under the float for objects that may keep the protector
from moving up or down.
