Before you call for service
Performance problems often result from little
things you can find and fix yourself wlthouttaals

It nothing operates:
0 Is the oven correctly wired Into a llve clrcult
wlth the proper voltage? See the Installation
Instructions.
l Have you checked your home’s main fuses or
clrcult breaker box?
l Have you checked the electric company for
a power failure?
It the mlcrowave oven wtll not run:
l Is the oven belng used as a timer?
l Is the door firmly closed and latched?
l Did you touch START?
9 Did you follow the dlrectlons exactly?
It the mlcrowave oooklng times seem too
long:
l Is the electric supply to your home or wall out-
let low or lower than normal? Your electric
company can tell you If the line voltage Is low.
Your electrlclan or service technlclan can tell
you If the outlet voltage Is low
l Is the Cook Power at the recommended
setting?
l Are you allowlng for more time when cooklng
more food at one tlme?
l Refer to a reliable mlcrowave cookbook for
further lnfarmatlan on mlcrowave cooklng.
If the Dlsptq shows a time oounttng down but
theovenknotcooklng:
l Is the oven door closed completely?
l Have you set the controls as a kitchen tlme7!
l Is the oven In standlng ttme between AUTO DE-
FROST and a coaklng cycle or DELAY START?
It you do not hear a programmlng tone
(page 6):
. Is the command correct?
l Has the tone been cancelled?
It the tan seems to be running slower than
usual:
l Has the oven been stored In a cold area? The
fan will run slower unttl the oven warms up to
normal roam temperature.
If More has boon a power Interruption, the
Display will show 88:88. Reset the clock,
(Pow 6).
