Caring For Your Microwave Oven
To make sure your microwave oven looks good
and works well for a long time, you should
maintain it properly. To do so, please follow these
instructions carefully.
Cleaning the microwave oven
Wipe often with warm, sudsy water and a sponge
or paper towel. The glass turntable may be
removed for cleaning; however, this oven is
designed to operate with the turntable in place.
Do
not
operate the microwave oven when
turntable is removed for cleaning. See page 30
for further information about the turntable.
For stubborn soil, boil a cup of water in the oven
for 2 or 3 minutes. Steam will soften the soil.
Be sure to keep the areas clean where the
door and oven frame touch when closed.
Use
onfy mild, nonabrasive soaps or detergents
applied with a sponge or paper towel when
cleaning surfaces. Rinse well.
Product Damage Hazard
Abrasive cleansers, steel-wool pads, gritty
wash cloths, etc., can damage the control
panel, and the interior and exterior oven
surfaces. Use a sponge with a mild deter-
gent or a paper towel with spray glass
cleaner. Apply spray glass cleaner to paper
towel; do not spray directly on oven.
