12.5.2 Background for the screensaver
Note: This function is not available as standard. However, you can
install it very easily via the Fresh software. Fresh can be downloaded
free of charge from the website www.garmin.com/pid.
You can use any picture on the memory card as background for the
screensaver.
For more details about the screensaver refer to chapter "Screensaver"
on page 17.
Selecting a picture for the screensaver
1. Call up the picture which you want to use as background for the
screensaver (see "Selecting an image file" on page 139).
2. In the P
ICTURES window, tap on Options > Select picture for
standby.
The picture will now be used as background for the screensaver.
Resetting the screensaver
► In the PICTURES window, tap on Options > Reset picture for
standby.
The screensaver uses the standard graphic again.
13 Handsfree module
The navigation device has a hands-free module which supports
Bluetooth connections to Bluetooth-capable mobile phones and MP3
players. It can be connected simultaneously to up to two mobile phones
or MP3 players.
If you have set up a connection to a mobile phone, you can use the
navigation device as a hands-free module for it.
If you have made a connection to a smartphone which can provide an
Internet connection for the navigation device (tethering), you will have
access to the current online services of the Live Services.
Note: Not all Bluetooth-capable devices are 100% compatible.
Depending on the device, some functions may not be supported at all or
only with limitations. It may happen that a device (mobile phone,
smartphone or Bluetooth-capable MP3 player) cannot be connected
when a certain other device is already concected.
