Note! You may want to install the Power Wheels
®
6 volt
batteries before assembling the seat . Please see “Battery
Installation” on page 21 for detailed instructions.
• Fit the tab on the front of the seat into the slot near the
gas tank.
• Push down firmly near the back of the seat to snap it to
the vehicle.
Helpful Hint! You will need to remove the seat to access
the high speed connector and to charge the 6 volt
batteries. To remove the seat, press the tab at the back
of the seat and lift.

• Insert a screw through the hole in each side of the gas
tank and into the vehicle frame.
• Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.

• Balance the sound box on the vehicle body. (The
speaker should face down.)
• Fit the tabs at the bottom of the gas tank under the front
end of the vehicle body.
• Lower the gas tank on the vehicle frame, making sure
that the two small square openings in the gas tank fit
over the buttons on the sound box.

Helpful Hint! To replace the batteries in the sound box,
simply remove the screws from the gas tank and remove
the gas tank from the vehicle frame. After replacing the
batteries, be sure to replace the sound box, gas tank
and screws.
