Setting an alert for roaming
Use this setting if you want the phone to alert you if you roam outside of
your home service area.
1. Select jÉåì → pÉííáåÖë=→ kÉíïçêâ=→ oç~ãLpêîÅ=^äÉêíK
2. Select an option and press .
– aáë~ÄäÉÇ will not alert you if you roam outside your home service area.
– tÜÉå=åç=ëÉêîáÅÉ alerts you with three tones, decreasing in intensity,
when service is lost. When service is acquired again, you will hear
three tones increase in intensity.
– lå=êç~ã=ÅÜ~åÖÉ alerts you with two tones, decreasing in intensity,
when roaming service is acquired. When home area service is
acquired again, you hear three tones, increasing in intensity.
– lå=~åó=ÅÜ~åÖÉ alerts you with three increasing tones if there is a
change in roaming service or three decreasing tones if the phone
loses service.
