
Battery contact points
Since the D-390 does not have
the same internal power
characteristics as the D-370 or
D-380 it’s necessary to control
this camera with the
PixController RSP board.
The recommended way to
wire the D-390’s power is
through the DC power jack,
see “Figure 1”. By doing so
you will not add any internal
wires to the D-390. Using the
external power supply connector
to power up/down the D-390
does not work unless you can
find a 3.5V battery. We
recommend using a 3 AA
external battery.
If you want to wire the D-390
internally we will need to locate
the internal battery contact
points. The DC Voltage contact
point is the (+) on the battery,
and the Ground is the (-) on the
battery.
Wire the battery contact points
as to the PixController RSP
board as shown in this boards
manual. DO NOT WIRE THE
DC VOLTAGE TO THE
PixController!! This will
damage the board.
Remove any internal AA
batteries. Your trail camera
can not function with them in.
