34 Timer Recording
Follow the steps below to program your DVD/VCR to record TV
programs while you’re away from home. Before you begin:
● Set up the TV channels at the DVD/VCR. Details are on page 24.
● Set the clock. If the clock is not set, CLOCK MUST BE SET will
appear on the TV screen briefly after you select PROGRAM, fol-
lowed by the VCR menu. Follow the directions on page 27 to
set the VCR’s clock.
● Put a tape in the cassette compartment of the DVD/VCR. Make
sure the tape’s record tab is intact and the tape is long enough
to record the program(s).
● Press OUTPUT SELECT so the green VIDEO light appears on
the front of the DVD/VCR.
● Press VCR/TV so the green VCR/TV light appears on the front
of the DVD/VCR.
Do each step within 60 seconds of the previous step.

Press PLAY B (o) or STOP C (p) to select a
ONCE, DAILY, or WEEKLY recording.Then, press
FF g (B).
● ONCE: The DVD/VCR will record a TV program on any
day you choose, up to 12 months away.
● DAILY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel
every day from Monday to Friday – starting at the same
time and recording for the same length of time.
● WEEKLY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel
on the same day, at the same time, and for the same
length of time every week.

CLEAR until the cursor is flashing
on the item you want to change.
Then enter the correct information.
