The power does not turn off after switching off the engine in some cars. If the power plug is left
connected, the battery may become run down or damaged.
If used in a vehicle, disconnect the DC power cable whenever engine is turned off for
extended periods of time.
When removing the power plug, be sure to hold the end
of the plug rather than pulling on the power cable.
