5) Plug the unit into an electrical outlet. The red preheat light will turn on.
6) Closethelidoftheunitandpreparedesiredwaferecipeswhiletheunitisheatingup.
7) Whenthewafeiron’sthermostathasreachedtherighttemperature,thegreenCooklight
will go on.
8) Openthelidofthewafeiron,carefullypourthewafebatterintothecenterofeach
wafeformslowly.Makesurenottooverowthewafeformcavities.
9) Gentlyclosethetoplidofthewafeiron;donotforceshut.Steamwillejectfrombetween
thewafeironsopleaseensurethatngersdonotgetincontactwiththesteam.
Note: Duringtoastingandprocessofmakingthewafes,thegreencooklightwillperiodi-
cally turn on and off to maintain the right temperature.
10) Yourwafewillbetoastedin2-3min.Orlongertosuityourtaste.
11) Liftthelidofthewafeironandremoveeachwafecarefullyusingaplasticorwooden
utensilatthecornersofeachwafe.
12) NEVER use metal or sharp devices such as forks or knives to remove the food. Always
use wooden or plastic spatulas or utensils to remove.
13) Closethetopofwafeirontopreservetheheatuntilreadytotoastthenextwafe.
14) Unplugunitwhennishusing.
SANDWICHES
1) Whenusingforthersttime,wipethesurfaceofthecookingplateswithadampclothanddry.
2) Snap the plates onto the unit by using the Panel Tabs (B) and the housing on the sides of
each plate.
3) Besuretoplacetheunitonaat,heat-resistantsurfacewhilecooking.Alsomakesure
you cooking in a well-ventilated area.
4) Note: First use will burn off the manufacture protective coating. This may cause slight
smokingfromunit.Itisnotharmfulandwillstopafterrstuse.
5) Season the plates with butter or margarine if desired.
6) Plug the unit into an electrical outlet. The red Preheat light will turn on.
7) Close the sandwich maker and prepare desired sandwiches while the unit is heating up.
8) Whenthesandwichmaker’sthermostathasreachedtherighttemperature,thegreen
Cook light will go on.
9) Open the top of the sandwich maker, place slice of bread onto the bottom plate.
10) Fillwithdesiredsandwichcondiments.Laytoplayerofbreadoverthetopoflling.
11) Closethetoplidofthesandwichmaker;donotforceshut.Steamwillejectfrombetween
thesandwichmakersopleaseensurethatngersdonotcontactwithsteam.
12) Note: During toasting and process of making the sandwiches, the green cook light will
periodically turn on and off to maintain the right temperature.
13) Your sandwich will be toasted in 2-3 min. Or longer to suit your taste.
14) Open the sandwich maker and remove sandwiches using a plastic or wooden spatula.
15) NEVER use metal or sharp devices such as forks or knives to remove the food. Always
use wooden or plastic spatulas or utensils to remove.
16) Close the top of sandwich maker to preserve the heat until ready to toast the next sand-
wiches.
17) Unplugunitwhennishusing.

SÁNDWICHES
1) Almomentodeutilizarelelectrodomésticoporprimeravez,frotelassupercieslasplan-

2) Coloque las planchas sobre el electrodoméstico utilizando las lengüetas (B) para asegura-
rlas en cada uno de los lados de la plancha.
3) Asegúresedecolocarelelectrodomésticosobreunasupercieplanayresistentealcalor
durantelacocción.Tambiénasegúresedequeselleveacabolacocciónenunazonabien
ventilada.
Nota: Durante el primer uso, se quemará la cubierta protectora de fábrica. Esto podría
causar que se produzca una ligera cantidad de humo. Esto no es dañino y se detendrá
después del primer uso.
