RECIPES
Buttermilk Crumb Cake
Buttery, sweet and tender – pair with a cup of coffee
for a delicious start to the day.
Makes one 9-inch cake (10 to 12 servings)
nonstick cooking spray
Crumb Topping:
½ cup unbleached, all-purpose flour
¼ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch kosher salt
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
Cake:

cups unbleached, all-purpose flour
¾ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon kosher salt

cup unsalted butter, cut into 5 pieces
½ cup + 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 large egg, room temperature
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

cup buttermilk*
1. Preheat the Toaster Oven on Bake to 350°F with the rack in position A.
Lightly coat a 9-inch square or round baking pan with non-stick cooking
spray. Reserve.
