Installation Recommendations
The importance of the installation of your new appliance
cannot be overemphasized. Installation should be done
byaqualiedinstaller.
Before you begin the installation process, it is
recommended that you read this entire Installation
Instruction Manual. There are key details that you should
take special care to observe during the installation. By
reading these instructions carefully, you will make the
installation process easier, problem-free and, most
importantly, safe.

When using any microwave oven generating heat, •
there are certain safety precautions you should
follow. These are listed in the Use & Care Manual.
Read the Use and Care Manual and follow all safety
precautions carefully.
Be sure your Microwave In-A-Drawer™ is installed•
and grounded properly by a qualied installer or
service technician.
For SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS do not install drawer in
any combustible cabinetry, which is not in accord with
the stated clearances and dimensions on pages 4 and 5.
See Figure 2 (for 24") or Figures 4 and 5 (for 30").
Grounding Instructions
WARNING
Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a
risk of electric shock.
This appliance must be grounded. The Microwave In-A-
Drawer™ is equipped with a cord having a grounding
wire with a grounding plug. It must be plugged into a
wall receptacle that is properly installed and grounded
in accordance with the National Electrical Code and
local codes and ordinances. In the event of an electrical
short circuit, grounding reduces risk of electric shock by
providing an escape wire for the electric current.

Consult a qualied electrician or serviceman if the
grounding instructions are not completely understood,
or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly
grounded. If it is necessary to use an extension cord,
use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-blade
grounding plug, and a 3-slot receptacle that will accept
the plug on the appliance. The marked rating of the
extension cord shall be equal to or greater then the
electrical rating of the appliance.
