Protecting Against Frozen Pump Damage
1. Cut off th e electr ica l power to the dishwashe r.
2. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the water inlet pipe from the water valve.
3. Dr ain the water from the inlet pipe and water valve. (Us e a pan to c atch the wa ter)
4. Reco nnect t he w ater inlet pipe t o th e wat er va lve .
5. Remove the filter at the bottom of the tub and use a sponge to soak up water in the sump.
I t is impo rtan t to protect your pumps from f rozen water damag e ca used by th e dro p of interna l hom e te mp eratu re.
I f your home temperature goes below 34 for a lo ng per io d of time, you can have i ce build in the lines and arou nd
t he moto rs. Have your plumber follow the b elow ste ps i f you w ater pipes freeze.

To remove the upper sprayarm,turn thenut clockwise and remove the arm.
To remove the lower spray arm, pull it upward.
Wash the arms in soapy warm water and use a soft brush to
clean the jets. Replace them afterrinsing them thoroughly.
