FCI WARRANTY for Home Appliances
Duration of warranty:
FCI grants for Canada and the U.S.A. a 24 months full warranty from the date of purchase as indicated on the
invoice to the end user. During this period FCI will pay the cost for replaced parts and labor needed to repair the
appliance.
For proof of warranty, please retain the original purchase invoice and the delivery slip.
In the U.S.A., an additional unique provision of FCI applies. This provision states if any technical failure occurs
after the two-year warranty period, beginning with the first day of month 25 until the last day of month 36 after the
purchase date, FCI will pay the customer directly an amount of $ 50.00 helping defray any service cost as result
of a technical failure. This service contribution is limited to only one claim per customer in the third year after the
date of purchase. To be eligible for this contribution, the customer must fill out the “Warranty Contribution
Coupon” completely and mail the coupon to the address given together with a copy of the original purchase
invoice and the service repair slip. The “Warranty Contribution Coupon” is included in the Users Manual within the
original packaging of the appliance.
This 3rd year warranty provision does not apply to FCI products sold in Canada.
Under the terms of this warranty, service must only be provided by an authorized FCI agent.
