CHAPTER 1: SERVICE PROCEDURES
1-39
1.8.7 Improper Basket Lift Function (cont.)
Electronics failure. This category encompasses problems with the relays, microswitches,
capacitors, resistors, interface board, wiring, and controls.
Troubleshooting the electronics of the modular basket lift is simply a process of verifying current
flow through the components up to and including the motor. Using a multimeter set to the 250 VAC
range, check the connections on both sides of the component for the presence of 120 VAC. The
simplified wiring diagrams on the preceding pages identify the components and wiring connection
points.
1.9 Troubleshooting Guides
The following troubleshooting guides are intended to assist service technicians in quickly isolating
the probable causes of equipment malfunctions by following a logical, step-by-step process.
